Anne Wong- Lab 1- Maps Part 3

This map “Atlas of Faiths” shows how many different religions there are and the percentage of each religion on earth.  It also has an estimation of how many people in the millions there will be who believe in each religion. For instance, it is estimated that by year 2050, 3052 million will be Christian believers and 2229 million will be Muslim believers. From the map, North Africa consists of Muslims; about two thirds of North America are Christians from various churches and one third as Protestants. It is interesting that Europe is the most diverse. It has a mix of Orthodox, Muslims Sunnis, Muslims Shiites, Roman Catholics, Christians, Protestants and no dominant religion. This comes to show how old these places and countries are because they have so much history and development through time.
